Hi, I am almost certain to be displaying unacceptable ignorance, but I
do not know if the attraction/compromise effects have ever been tested
for gambles. I mean, if there is a choice between (say) a .3 chance of
$50 and a .7 chance of $10, will preferences shift towards the .3/$10
gamble if a .25 chance of $50 is also available? (And likewise for the
compromise effect). I have tried the usual electronic methods of
finding out, but I only find applications of the effects to riskless
choice.
