Behavioral Decision Making

The College of Social and Behavioral Sciences is offering a one-year postdoctoral fellowship in Behavioral Decision Making to begin in September 2007, with the potential for renewing for a second year.  The Behavioral Decision Making initiative is a college-wide program that draws on faculty from Political Science, Economics, Psychology, and related fields, and aims systematically to study the determinants and impacts of human behavior in collective and institutional settings drawing on the tools of game theory, computational modeling, experimental methods, and judgment/decision making, where appropriate.  In addition to conducting his/her research in one of the primary departments, the fellow will serve as a bridge between the departments of Economics, Political Science, and Psychology, and will help to coordinate the Behavioral Decision Making activities between these units.  All candidates must submit a current curriculum vitae, a sample of professional writing, and a brief statement of research interests. Prospective or recent (received in last 4 years) Ph.D.s should also have two up-to-date letters of recommendation sent to Hal R.
